Candle Care

Trim the wick

Putting the candle out

Before you light your candle, it is recommended that you trim the wick to 6mm and remove any wick debris.

We recommend using a wick trimmer rather than a pair of steak knife.

When putting the candle out after use, we recommend that you use a candle snuffer to prevent the wick from off centering and wax splashing.

Candle Storage

First time burning

Our candles are sensitive to the light and warm temperatures. It is recommended that you keep the candle in a cool, dry place with minimal exposure to UV, Sunlight and Dust. This will prolong the life of your candles scent and color.

If you are burning your candle for the first time, it is recommended that you burn the candle for a minimum of 1 hour. This will give the candle an even layer of melted wax and will keep the wick upright.

Avoid draughts

More FAQ's

Our candles burn best in still air, it is recommended you burn the candle in a room with minimal draughts. If you cant avoid draughts it is best you periodically rotate the candle around to ensure even burn. A draught is not a beer, it's a term used for movement in the air.
